At 20:50 yesterday evening (15th) Magpas Doctor Adriana Cordier and Paramedic Dan Read were called to treat a man in his twenties who had been involved in a road traffic incident, where a car with four occupants had collided with a tree.
The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 20's) who had suffered a broken leg. They gave the patient advanced pain relief and sedated him at the scene (providing him with A&E level care). The Magpas team then escorted the man to Peterborough City Hospital via land ambulance where on arrival he was in a stable condition. Fortunately the three other occupants were discharged from scene.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew, Police and Fire Service were also in attendance.
