London to Paris Cycle Challenge
Take on this experience of a lifetime on 17th-19th September 2021, brought to you by Challenge Central, and help keep Magpas Air Ambulance flying!
This is your opportunity to cycle from one of London’s best known landmarks to the most romantic city in the world, Paris. This 190-mile bike ride adventure can be achieved in only three days, travelling through some of the most beautiful French countryside on smooth-as-silk roads. With the summer weather and the camaraderie from other cyclists, this challenge really is a dream cycle ride into continental Europe.
The London to Paris cycle tour will put you to the test with three days of consecutive cycling (and a handful of challenging hill-climbs!) which makes that first sight of the Eiffel Tower even more rewarding. Better yet, you’ll know you’ve completed this tremendous challenge for your local air ambulance, helping us to save even more lives across the East of England and beyond.
The London to Paris Cycle Ride is supported by the Challenge Central team all the way. The support vehicle is never far away, carrying your personal belongings all the way to Paris. You also have the option to have your bikes and belongings transported back to the UK following the challenge – leaving you free to enjoy the sights and sounds of the magnificent city of Paris at your own pace.
A place in this once in a lifetime challenge costs £695 per person. This includes the overnight ferry on day 1, accommodation in Beauvais on day 2, food on both evenings and a finishers medal* – and Magpas Air Ambulance have secured 10 places, which you can book through our unique booking link below with a deposit of just £125! All we ask is you aim to raise £1,000 in sponsorship for our charity that exists to save lives across the region.
*Ticket cost does not include accommodation in Paris or your return back to the UK.
Our friendly Community and Events Officer will be on hand throughout the lead up to your challenge to help you reach fundraising success! We’ll also send you a fundraising pack to kick start the journey. If you have any questions in the meantime, please just get in touch with Annette at [email protected] or call 01480 371060 (option 2) and she will be more than happy to help.
