The Honda Owners Club support Magpas!

The Honda Owners Club support Magpas!

Our Helimedix team welcomed representatives from the Honda Owners Cub to our base on Thursday and were presented with a cheque for an incredible £600!

This was due to fundraising for a 'blind auction' at their Christmas dinner event last year; a fun, inventive and brilliant way to raise money for our 24/7 service.

We all would like to thank representatives Roger, Nina, Jim, Anita, Paul, Kim and all of the Honda Owners Club for their generous donation; it really does make a lifesaving difference.

In amendment to our previous post, we would like to clarify that the generous donation was from the entire Honda Owners Club, and not simply the Cambridgeshire branch as originally stated.

Enthusiastic HRC students lend a hand at Magpas

For the past six weeks we have been hugely fortunate to be joined by Tom Gaudin and Ilayda Bulbal, two Huntingdonshire Regional College students assisting us in our fundraising department as part of their work experience.

Both Tom and llayda got stuck in to a huge variety of tasks; from administration, database entry and general paperwork, to helping stock and sort our charity shop and joining the team out on fundraising ventures.

We hope they gained some valuable experience working both in the charity sector and within the community with us at Magpas, we certainly enjoyed having them with us, they were great fun and showed commitment and a willingness to get involved. We will miss them and we thank both Tom and Ilayda for all their hard work and good luck with their studies!

If anyone else would be interested in any work experience please contact us on: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
