Huntingdon, teenager injured in fall from horse - Magpas Air Ambulance flies to the scene

At 3.13pm on Wednesday afternoon (6th), Magpas Doctor Nathan Howes and Paramedic Ashley Richardson landed at a field in Huntingdon, via the Magpas Air Ambulance, to treat a woman who had fallen from a horse.

The Magpas team assessed the woman (in her teens) who had sustained a leg injury. They sedated her and put measures in place to protect her injuries.

She was then flown via the air ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where she was in a stable condition upon arrival.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team were Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crewmember Steve Hunwicks.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.

We have no further information.
