At 3:51am this morning (28th), Magpas Doctor Lee Soomaroo and Paramedic Dan Read arrived in Haverhill via the Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response BMW. They had been called to treat a woman who had been injured in a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in her 40’s) who had sustained head injuries. They worked alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew to manage the situation, before accompanying the woman in a land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital (monitoring her condition all the way). The patient was in a very serious but stable condition upon arrival.

Suffolk Police were also in attendance.
