At 5:06am this morning (23rd) Magpas Doctor Charlotte Haldane and Paramedic Alex Pearce arrived in Bury St Edmunds via a Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a man who had been injured in a fall.
The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 80’s) who had sustained a serious leg injury. They sedated the patient in order to protect his injuries (providing him with A&E level care at the scene), before accompanying him to West Suffolk Hospital via land ambulance. The man was in a stable condition upon arrival.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
