Wittering, woman suffers serious knee injury – Magpas Helimedix fly to scene
At 1:10pm yesterday afternoon (27th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor David Driver and Paramedic Phil Almond) arrived in the area of Wittering, via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance. A woman (in her 20’s) suffered a severe injury to her knee.
The Helimedix sedated the patient. The woman was then taken to Peterborough City Hospital in a stable condition, via a Land Ambulance.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member George Phillips.
An EEAST Ambulance Crew was also present. All the Emergency Services worked well together.
