Wisbech, woman suffers fall from height – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to her

At 10:46am this morning, Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Foster and Paramedic Miss Jo Lambert) arrived in Wisbech via the Magpas Air Ambulance – after a woman (in her 30’s) suffered a fall through the ceiling panel of a stockroom.

The Helimedix assessed the patient who had endured a suspected pelvic injury. The Magpas team then worked alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew to administer pain relief and put measures into place to protect the woman’s injuries. The patient was subsequently taken by land ambulance, in a stable condition, to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn for further investigation.

The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Steve Hunwicks.

This is all the information we have.
