At 11.29pm last night (31st) Magpas Doctor Rosie Dwyer and Paramedic Alex Pearce, alongside Doctor Tom Odbert, arrived in Wisbech via a Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a motorcyclist who had been injured in a collision with a car.
The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 20’s) who had sustained a leg injury and sedated him at the scene (providing him with A&E level care). They then accompanied the man to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn, via land ambulance. He was in a stable condition upon arrival.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew and Cambridgeshire Police were also in attendance.
