Wisbech man goes into cardiac arrest – Magpas called to him

At 6:13am this morning (20th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Zoe Smeed and Paramedic Dan Cody) arrived in Wisbech via a Magpas Rapid Response BMW, after a man (in his 50’s) went into cardiac arrest.

Two EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews provided life support and resuscitated the patient, before the Helimedix anaesthetised the man (providing him with critical A&E level care there and then). The Magpas team then accompanied the man to Papworth Hospital by land ambulance, where on arrival he was in a serious but stable condition.

This is all the information we have.
