Wisbech, man goes into cardiac arrest – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to him
At 1.15pm this afternoon (25th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah McNeilly and Paramedic Alex Pearce) arrived in the Wisbech area via the Magpas Air Ambulance – after a man (believed to be in his 50’s) had gone into cardiac arrest.
The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic provided the patient with advanced life support at the scene. The Magpas team then accompanied the man to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a critical condition.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Steve Hunwicks.
EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews and the Police were also present.
