Whittlesey, woman falls from horse – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to her
At 8.40am this morning (27th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Raluca Ionescu and Paramedic Chris Hawkins) arrived in Whittlesey via the Magpas Air Ambulance – after a woman (in her 20’s) suffered a fall from a horse.
The Helimedix assessed the patient who had suffered pain to her neck and lower body. The Magpas team then worked alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew to provide the woman with pain relief, before she was taken to Peterborough City Hospital in a stable condition by land ambulance.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Simon Amos.
