Whittlesey, man goes into cardiac arrest – Magpas Helimedix called to him
At 6:30pm yesterday evening (21st), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Wayne Kark and Paramedic Simon Standen) arrived in Whittlesey via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW, after a man (in his 50’s) went into cardiac arrest.
When the Magpas team arrived, an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew had resuscitated the patient. The Helimedix then provided the patient with pain relief, before accompanying him to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance, monitoring his condition on the way. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a serious but stable condition.
