St Neots woman suffers seizure – Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance flies to scene

At 9:01am yesterday morning 20th August, Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Tom Odbert and Paramedic Dan Phillips) arrived at a field in the Eaton Socon area, via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance. An EEAST Ambulance Crew requested their assistance after a woman (in her 90’s) suffered a seizure.

The Magpas team sedated the patient in the back of a land ambulance (providing her with specialist care), whilst working alongside the EEAST Ambulance Crew at the scene. The Helimedix then accompanied the woman to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in the land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital, she was in a stable condition.

The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member George Phillips.

All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have at present.
