St Neots, woman falls from pushbike – Magpas Helimedix called to her
At 11:28am on Saturday the 16th, Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Raluca Ionescu and Paramedic Simon Standen) arrived at a field near St Neots, in the Abbotsley area, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW. A woman (in her 50’s) was involved in a potentially serious fall from the pushbike she was out riding.
The Magpas team assessed the patient who had suffered leg injuries (fortunately these didn’t turn out to be life-threatening). The Helimedix then dressed the wound, whilst working alongside EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews who were also at the scene. The woman was subsequently taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital by land ambulance in a stable condition.
A Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service Crew was also present.
