St Neots, lorry collision – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to scene

At 12.27pm today (15th), Magpas Doctor Rupert Hurry and Paramedic Chris Hawkins landed in the St Neots area via the Magpas Air Ambulance – following a road traffic incident where a lorry collided with a tree and ended up in a ditch, leaving a man (in his 50’s) trapped in the vehicle.

Fire and Rescue Services worked to safely remove the man from the vehicle. The Magpas team then assessed the patient who had suffered minor leg injuries. The man was subsequently taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, in a stable condition, by an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew.

The Helicopter team who flew the Magpas Doctor and Paramedic to the scene was: Pilot Andy Figg and Crew Member George Phillips.

The Police were also present.

This is all the information we have.
