St Ives, road traffic incident – Magpas Helimedix called to scene

At 4.55pm yesterday (19th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah Hazleman and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived on the B1040 near St Ives via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a road traffic incident where a car left the road and rolled into a ditch.

The Helimedix assessed four patients who had fortunately only suffered minor injuries. A female patient (in her 50’s) was subsequently taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, in a stable condition, by an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service Crews and Cambridgeshire Police were also on the scene.
