St Ives man goes into cardiac arrest – Magpas Helimedix called to him
At 9:48am on Saturday morning (22nd), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nathan Howes and Paramedic Dan Phillips) arrived at a residential address in St Ives via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a man (in his 30’s) went into cardiac arrest.
The Magpas team gave the patient advanced life support and specialist A&E care, whilst working alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew and Officer. The Helimedix then accompanied the man to Papworth Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a serious but stable condition.
All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.
