Skegness, man pulled from water – Magpas Helimedix fly to him

At 1:04pm yesterday afternoon (9th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah Hazleman and Paramedic Dan Phillips) arrived at Skegness beach via the Magpas Air Ambulance. A man (in his 20’s) had experienced some serious difficulty whilst in the sea, he was quickly helped out of the water and then suffered a collapse.

The Helimedix assessed the patient whilst working alongside an East Midlands Ambulance Service Crew who were also at the scene. The man was then taken to hospital by land ambulance in a stable condition.

The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Andy Craigie.
Life guards, the coastguard and an RNLI crew were also present. Everyone worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have.
