Six Hills, Leics, woman injured in single vehicle collision – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to the scene

At 5.35pm on Saturday evening (4th), Magpas Doctor Zoe Smeed and Paramedic Dan Cody landed in Six Hills, Leicestershire, via the Magpas Air Ambulance, to treat a woman injured in a single vehicle collision. 

The Magpas team assessed the woman (in her teens) who had sustained an injury to her arm. They assisted an EMAS paramedic crew to treat her minor injuries.

The woman was then taken by land ambulance to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, where she was in a stable condition upon arrival.

The helicopter crew who flew to the scene were Pilot Steve Wood and Crewmember Chris Hawkins.

Leicestershire Police and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.
