Sandy, woman suffers collapse – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to her
At 3.35pm on Saturday (28th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Lee Soomaroo and Paramedic Chris Hawkins) arrived in Sandy via the Magpas Air Ambulance – after a woman (in her 50’s) had suffered a serious collapse.
The Magpas team worked alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew to assess the patient. The woman was then taken to Bedford Hospital by land ambulance, in a stable condition.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Andy Figg and Crew Member George Phillips.
