At 7:46pm last night (28th), Magpas Doctor Lee Soomaroo and Paramedic Ollie Robinson arrived near Rushden, via the Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle, following a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

The Magpas team worked alongside an East Midlands Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew to assess a woman (in her 20s), who had suffered a head and leg injury. Fortunately the patient had only endured minor injuries. The woman was then taken, in a stable condition, by land ambulance to Kettering General Hospital.

Northamptonshire Police were also on the scene.
