Ramsey man suffers seizure – Magpas Helimedix called to him
At 12:15pm yesterday afternoon (8th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Alexandra Cross and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived in Ramsey via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a man (in his 50’s) suffered a seizure.
The Magpas team assessed the patient and worked alongside an EEAST Ambulance Paramedic Crew to treat the patient. The Helimedix then accompanied the man in a land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, monitoring his condition all the way. On arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a stable but serious condition.
An EEAST Ambulance Service Rapid Response Paramedic was also present. All the Emergency Services worked well together.
