At 2.32am this morning (20th), Magpas Doctor Charlotte Haldane and Paramedic Chris Hawkins arrived in Peterborough via the Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a woman who had gone into cardiac arrest.
The Magpas medical team resuscitated the woman (in her 60’s) before placing her in an induced coma (providing her with A&E level care). They then accompanied her by land ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital. She was in a serious condition upon arrival.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
