Peterborough, two injured in single vehicle collision – Magpas Air Ambulance called to the scene

At 12.47am this morning (25th), Magpas Doctor Mark Tehan and Paramedic Ollie Robinson arrived at the Fletton Parkway in Peterborough via a rapid response vehicle. They had been called by EEAST Ambulance Service to treat two people injured in a collision involving one vehicle.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed a man in his 50’s and a woman in her 20’s. The woman had sustained a leg injury and was sedated at the scene (providing her with A&E level care). They then accompanied her by land ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital. She was in a stable condition upon arrival at hospital.

The man had sustained minor injuries and was also taken to Peterborough City Hospital by an EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew.

Cambridgeshire Police were also in attendance.
