Peterborough, pedestrian and car collision – Magpas called to scene
At 8.53pm last night (5th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Steve Corry-Bass and Paramedic Ollie Robinson) arrived in Peterborough via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a car, which left a woman (in her 60’s) trapped underneath the vehicle.
Fire and Rescue Services worked to safely remove the patient from underneath the car. The Helimedix then assessed the woman who had fortunately not suffered any serious injuries. The Magpas team provided the patient with pain relief, before accompanying her to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the woman was in a stable condition.
EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews, and the Police were also on the scene. The Magpas team would like to thank all the emergency services for their excellent team work.
