The Magpas team provided a man (in his 60’s) with enhanced A&E level care in the back of a land ambulance, before flying the patient to Papworth Hospital for further treatment. On arrival at the hospital, the man was in a stable but serious condition.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the patient / the patient and the Helimedix to hospital was: Pilot Rob Pennell and Crew Member George Phillips.
All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.
