Peterborough man with serious heart condition – Magpas Helimedix called out

At 11:39pm last night (Sunday 19th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Rod Mackenzie and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived just off the A14 in Bar Hill. An EEAST Ambulance Paramedic Crew requested their assistance with a patient, whilst on route to Addenbrooke’s Hospital from Peterborough.

The Magpas team put specialist measures into place for a man (in his 60’s) who was suffering from severe heart problems. The Helimedix then accompanied the patient in the land ambulance for the rest of the journey to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. On arrival at the hospital, the man was in a critical but stable condition.

All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have at present.
