Peterborough man suffers serious stair fall – Magpas Helimedix called to him
At 12:35pm yesterday afternoon (12th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Foster and Paramedic Simon Standen) arrived at a residential area in central Peterborough, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a man (in his 60’s) suffered a fall down some stairs and was left with an acute head injury.
The Magpas team provided the patient with Enhanced A&E level care, before accompanying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a land ambulance (monitoring his condition all the way). On arrival at the hospital, the man was in a stable but critical condition.
Two EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews were also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.
