Peterborough man suffers fall – Magpas Helimedix fly to him
At 2:40pm, yesterday afternoon (11th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Scott and Paramedic Mark Glover) arrived at a residential address in central Peterborough via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance. An elderly man had suffered a serious fall, whilst in the bath.
The Magpas team provided the patient with specialist A&E level care, before working alongside a HART Crew to remove him safely out of the house. The Helimedix then accompanied the man to Peterborough City Hospital by land Ambulance, where on arrival he was in a stable condition.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Andy Craigie.
Two EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews were also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.
