Peterborough man suffers fall – Magpas Helimedix fly to him

At 2:40pm, yesterday afternoon (11th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Scott and Paramedic Mark Glover) arrived at a residential address in central Peterborough via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance. An elderly man had suffered a serious fall, whilst in the bath.

The Magpas team provided the patient with specialist A&E level care, before working alongside a HART Crew to remove him safely out of the house. The Helimedix then accompanied the man to Peterborough City Hospital by land Ambulance, where on arrival he was in a stable condition.

The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Andy Craigie.

Two EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews were also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have.
