At 1:59pm yesterday afternoon (22nd) Magpas Doctor Adriana Cordier and Paramedic Dan Read landed in Peterborough via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They had been called to treat a man who had been injured in a motorcycle incident.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 50’s) who had sustained multiple injuries and gave the man advanced pain relief at the scene (providing him with A&E level care), before airlifting him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. The patient was in a stable condition upon arrival.

The helicopter crew who flew the Magpas Air Ambulance medical team and patient were Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crewmember Lee Kennedy.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew and Cambridgeshire Police were also in attendance. We have no further information.
