Magpas-Helimedix-on-route-in-Rapid-Response-BMW-1.jpgAt 9.10pm last night (1st), Magpas Doctor Ed Barnard and Paramedic Keiran Bromley arrived in Peterborough, via the Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a man injured in a collision between a car and a motorcycle.

The Magpas medical assessed the man (in his 20’s), who had sustained multiple injuries, and gave him advanced pain relief (providing him with A&E level care). The team then accompanied him by land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. He was in a serious but stable condition upon arrival at hospital.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service and Cambridgeshire Police were also in attendance.
