Peterborough, car & bicycle collision – Magpas Helimedix called to scene
At 12.38pm today (7th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Leigh Bissett and Paramedic Ollie Robinson) arrived in Peterborough via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW, following a road traffic collision involving a car and a bicycle.
The Helimedix assessed a man (in his 60’s) who had suffered suspected leg and pelvic injuries. The Magpas team sedated the patient (providing specialist A&E care at the scene), before accompanying him to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a stable condition.
An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew and the Police were also on the scene.
