Peterborough, car and pedestrian collision – Magpas called to scene
At 7.53pm last night (11th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Lee Soomaroo and Paramedic Chris Hawkins) arrived in Peterborough via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW, following a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
The Helimedix assessed a man (in his 40’s) who had suffered head and chest injuries. The Magpas team anaesthetised the patient (providing specialist A&E care on the scene), before accompanying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the man was in a serious but stable condition.
EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews and the Police were also on the scene.
