At 7.33pm yesterday evening (15th) Magpas Doctor Charlotte Haldane and Paramedic Dan Read arrived in a rural location west of Wimblington via a Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a man who had been seriously injured in a collision between a car and a motorcycle.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 20’s) who had sustained multiple serious injuries and sedated him at the scene (providing him with A&E level care). The team then accompanied the patient to Addenbrooke’s Hospital via land ambulance. He was in a serious but stable condition upon arrival.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew and Cambridgeshire Police were also in attendance.
