Nr Wellingborough, 2x car collision – Magpas called to scene
At 5.15pm on Friday (20th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Lee Soomaroo and Paramedic Chris Hawkins) arrived near Wellingborough via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW, following a road traffic collision involving two cars, which left a man (in his 70’s) trapped inside one of the vehicles.
The Magpas team assessed the patient who had suffered injuries to his upper body. The Helimedix then worked alongside Fire and Rescue Services to safely remove the man from the car. The patient was subsequently taken to Kettering Hospital, in a stable condition, by an East Midlands Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew.
The Police were also on the scene.
