Nr Thrapston, car and lorry collision – Magpas called to scene

At 4.55am this morning (22nd), Magpas Doctor Dave Leverton and Paramedic Chris Hawkins arrived near Thrapston via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a road traffic collision involving a lorry and a car.

The Magpas team worked alongside an East Midlands Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew to assess a man (in his 40’s) who had sustained injuries to his upper body. The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic provided the patient with pain relief, and accompanied him to Kettering General Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the man was in a stable condition.

Fire and Rescue Services, and the Police were also on the scene.
