Nr Terrington St Clement, man trapped under industrial machinery – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to him

At 12:10pm this afternoon (8th) Magpas Doctor Adriana Cordier and Paramedic Andy Ormiston landed in a rural location West of Terrington St Clement via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They had been called to treat a man who had been trapped under an overturned piece of industrial machinery.

Once the Magpas enhanced medical team had arrived, the patient (in his 30’s) had been released. They then assessed the man, who had sustained a leg injury and gave him advanced pain relief at the scene (providing him with A&E level care) before airlifting him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn, in a stable condition.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team and patient were Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and HEMS Crewmember Lee Kennedy.

An EEAST Ambulance Service officer, Norfolk Police and the Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.

We have no further information.
