Nr Stamford, schoolboy sustains leg injury – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to the scene

At 12.40pm this afternoon (24th), Magpas Doctor Steve Corry-Bass and Paramedic Ollie Robinson landed at a school near Stamford, via the Magpas Air Ambulance, to treat a teenager who had injured his leg. 

The Magpas team assessed the boy, who did not require treatment at the scene.

He was then flown to Peterborough City Hospital, where he was in a stable condition upon arrival.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team and patient were Pilot Andy Figg and Crewmember Lee Kennedy.
