Nr St Ives, woman injured in fall down stairs – Magpas Air Ambulance called to scene

At 11.37pm on Thursday evening (21st), Magpas Doctor Steve Corry-Bass and Paramedic Chris Hawkins arrived near St Ives, via the rapid response vehicle, to treat a woman who had fallen down a flight of stairs.

The Magpas team assessed the woman (in her 70s) who had suffered a head injury. They immobilised the patient before accompanying her by land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. She was in a stable condition upon arrival.

EEAST Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
