At 2.21am this morning (15th), Magpas Doctor Saad Jawaid and Paramedic Dan Read arrived north of Saffron Walden via a rapid response vehicle. They had been called by EEAST Ambulance Service to treat a man who had gone into cardiac arrest.
The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the man (in his 50s). They placed him into an induced coma at the scene (providing him with A&E level care) before accompanying him by land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. He was in a critical condition upon arrival at hospital.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
