At 8.47pm on Tuesday evening (22nd), Magpas Doctor Saad Jawaid and Paramedic Keir Rutherford arrived at a rural location east of Raunds via the Magpas rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a passenger injured when the car they were travelling in left the road and entered a ditch.
The Magpas medical team assessed a man (in his teens), who had sustained head injuries. The Magpas medical team anaesthetised him at the scene (providing him with A&E level care) and accompanied him by land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. He was in a serious but stable condition upon arrival at hospital.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew and Police were also in attendance.
