At 10.26am on Sunday morning (14th), the Magpas Air Ambulance landed near Oundle to treat a fisherman who had developed chest pain.

Magpas Doctor Drew Welch and Paramedic Ollie Robinson assessed and treated the man (in his 60s). Due to difficult road access at the site of the incident, the patient was flown to Papworth Hospital where he was in a stable condition on arrival.

The Helicopter team who flew the Magpas Doctor and Paramedic to the scene were Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member George Phillips.

The EMAS Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
