Nr Northampton, moped incident – Magpas called to scene

At 6.10pm on Sunday (3rd), Magpas Doctor Lee Soomaroo and Paramedic Simon Standen arrived in a location to the north of Northampton, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW. A man (in his 20’s) had suffered a fall from a moped.

The Magpas team assessed the patient who had sustained head injuries. The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic anaesthetised the man (providing him with specialist A&E care), before accompanying him to University Hospital Coventry by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a serious but stable condition.

East Midlands Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews, and the Police were also on the scene.
