Nr Market Deeping, 2x car collision – Magpas called to scene
At 7.20pm on Friday evening (6th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Andy Lindsay and Paramedic Jo Lambert) arrived near Market Deeping via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a road traffic collision involving two cars, which left a man (in his 50’s) trapped inside one of the vehicles.
The Helimedix assessed the patient who had suffered serious leg injuries. The Magpas team sedated the man (providing him with specialist A&E care on the scene), before working alongside Fire and Rescue Services to safely remove him from the car. The Helimedix then accompanied the patient to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance, where on arrival he was in a serious but stable condition.
EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews, an East Midlands Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew, and the Police were also on the scene.
