At 7.13am on Sunday morning (13th), Magpas Doctor Dave Leverton and Paramedic Simon Standen arrived near Kettering, via the rapid response car, to a collision involving two cars.
The team assessed man in his 30s who had sustained multiple fractures and a head injury. The man was sedated and anaesthetised (provided with A&E level specialist care) at the scene, before the team accompanied him by land ambulance to University Hospital Coventry. The patient was in a serious but stable condition on arrival.
Four occupants of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
EMAS Ambulance Service and Northamptonshire Police were also in attendance.
