At 7.58pm on Wednesday evening (6th), Magpas Doctor Dave Leverton and Paramedic Steve Chambers arrived near Flitwick, via the rapid response vehicle, to treat a woman (in her 40s) who had gone into cardiac arrest.

Paramedics from EEAST Ambulance Service administered CPR and lifesaving support which brought her out of cardiac arrest. The Magpas team anaesthetised the patient, providing her with advanced A&E level care at the scene. They then accompanied the woman by land ambulance to Luton & Dunstable Hospital, where she was in a serious but stable condition upon arrival.
