Nr Ely, bus and car collision – Magpas called to scene
At 11.32am this morning (13th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Zoe Smeed and Paramedic Ollie Robinson, alongside Doctor Simon Lewis) arrived south west of Ely via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW, following a severe road traffic collision involving a car and a bus.
The Magpas team worked alongside an East Anglian Air Ambulance crew to treat a seriously ill patient.
The Helimedix also worked with EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews to assess a patient who had suffered minor injuries. 4 other patients were treated by the ambulance service at the scene, none of whom had suffered major injuries.
HART, Fire and Rescue Services and the Police were also on the scene. Magpas would like to thank the rest of the emergency services for their excellent team work.
