At 5.45pm on Sunday evening (1st), Magpas Doctor Steve Corry-Bass and Paramedic Simon Standen landed near Daventry, via the air ambulance, to treat a woman who had been kicked by a cow.
The Magpas team assessed the woman (in her 40s), who had sustained a leg injury. They gave her advanced pain relief (providing advanced A&E level care at the scene) and put measures in place to protect her injuries. The patient was then flown to University Hospital Coventry where she was in a stable condition upon arrival.
The Helicopter crew who flew the medical team were Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crewmember Lee Kennedy.
EMAS Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
