Nr Bishop’s Stortford, car ends up in ditch – Magpas called to scene
At 10.20pm on Friday night (29th), Magpas Doctor Zoe Smeed and Paramedic Simon Standen arrived near Bishop’s Stortford via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a road traffic incident where a car came off the road and ended up in a ditch.
The Magpas team assessed a man (in his 50’s) who had sustained multiple injuries. The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic provided the patient with pain relief, before accompanying him by land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. On arrival at the hospital the man was in a serious but stable condition.
EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews, Fire and Rescue Services, and the Police were also on the scene.
